The Pussycat Dolls is coming to the Philippines this June 11, 2009 and will be seen live in the Mall of Asia (MOA). This event is sponsored by Clear and if you want discounts of your tickets please see the link below.
The Pussycat Dolls is an American pop girl group and dance ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin. The group originated in 1995 as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles, California. After attracting national attention, Antin eventually negotiated a record deal with Interscope Records in 2003, and the troupe was re-cast as a music group, comprising lead singer Nicole Scherzinger alongside Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Carmit Bachar. Subsequently the group also diversified into reality television programs, a Las Vegas act, merchandising and other ventures overseen by Antin, Interscope, and their partners.
The Pussycat Dolls achieved worldwide success in 2005 with their album PCD, which debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart and produced the hit singles "Don't Cha", "Buttons", and "Stickwitu"; a song that earned the group a Grammy Award nomination. Following the departure of Carmit Bachar in March 2008, the group continued as a quintet and in 2008 released their second studio album, Doll Domination, which included the hits "When I Grow Up", "I Hate This Part" and "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)". Throughout their rise to fame, the group has been criticized for its overtly sexual image and explicit dance routines and for the over-emphasis on lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, who sings nearly all of the group's lead and background vocals.
For the Pussy Cat Dolls Fans in Manila, you are in for a treat as they are coming to town - for details please check out this website: PCD live in Manila

After featuring him a couple of times on Empty Streets 1027 due to the fact that he has had quite a lot of amazing fights that were ligned up I felt it was time to talk a little bit more about the Pound 4 Pound fighter that has risen from the slums and achieved much more than anyone could dream of. Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, known as Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao is a Filipino professional boxer, part-time actor and recording artist. He is the former WBC Lightweight world champion, WBC Super Featherweight world champion, IBF Super Bantamweight world champion, and WBC Flyweight world champion. He has also held the Ring Magazine titles for Featherweight, Super Featherweight, and Light Welterweight divisions.
For his achievements, he became the first Filipino and Asian boxer to win five world titles in five different weight divisions. He is currently the IBO and Ring Magazine Light Welterweight champion and is rated by the Ring Magazine as the #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world. He is also the first boxer to win the lineal championship ("the man who beat the man") in four different weight classes.
Here is a video compilation of his greatest fights:
I have a cool summer soup recipe that I would love you guys to try. It is both tasty and easy to make and it uses two of my favorite ingredients - Avocado and Shrimp.
Ingredients: 1 small onion, diced 4 cups chicken broth 4 sprigs parsley 1/8 cup chopped chives 2 medium avocados, peeled, seeded, roughly chopped 1/2 cup cooked small shrimp, shelled, deveined 2 stalks celery, chopped fine 1 bay leaf 1 cup sour cream salt/pepper to taste
Procedure: Place onion, celery, broth, bay leaf, parsley, salt & pepper in a large saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Strain and reserve stock. Place avocados in blender or food processor; puree avocados while slowly adding stock. When mixture is smooth, return to saucepan and heat gently; add shrimp. Cook over low heat until heated thoroughly, do not boil. Serve with a dollop of sour cream atop each serving, and sprinkle with chopped chives.
And for those that would want to see a video demonstration of how this delish dish is prepared here is a video from NYTimes.com:
Amsterdam (pronounced /ˈæmstərdæm/) is the capital and largest city of the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland in the west of the country. The city, which had a population of around 1 million (with suburbs) on 1 January 2008, comprises the northern part of the Randstad, the 6th-largest metropolitan area in Europe, with a population of around 6.7 million.

I have gone on a strict diet trying to loose the pounds that have crept into my belly and has caused me to be separated from my abs. So now am working out and trying to loose weight as quickly as possible but I would definitely welcome all the help I can get. Out in the market right now are thousands of diet pills and diet supplements that claim to have a great impact on weight loss, however there are many such as the recent Hydroxycut retraction due to liver damage side effects have caused quite a stir if not scare to the general public. Of course one has to consult their physician and nutritionist prior to taking any sort of medication or pill, I have found the Top ten said to be the most effective diet pill/supplement in the market to date.

Nuphedragen is the most "controversial" and powerful diet pill that was ever reviewed. It stimulates what is known in the scientific community as CART and inhibits NPY. The fat loss results of these two chemical processes are mind-boggling.
Nuphedragen could have easily been our #1 rated diet pill if it had not been for its low safety score (79%). There have been rumors that Nuphedragen contains phentermine and prescription strength pain relievers. We believe these rumors to be false but Nuphedragen does contain phenylethylamine. Often referred to as the "Love Drug" it is extracted from chocolate and is responsible for the "chocolate high" sensation. Nuphedragen also contains synephrineHClwhich may dramatically burn fat, suppress appetite, and increase energy. When you combine synephrineHCl and the "Love Drug" PEA, mood enhancement is greatly improved, appetite is decreased to the point where one can barely eat, and fat burning is peaked better than anything we’ve ever seen. Finding bottles of Nuphedragen in the U.S. is sometimes hard as there are rumors that it may be taken off the market like Ephedra was. Nuphedragen retails for $137.00 USD per bottle.
NOXYCUT is a diet pill formulated for men over the age of 18 only. It contains a blend of the strongest fat burners, most potent testosterone boosters, and top-rated muscle builders. NOXYCUT is great for men who want a lean & chiseled body and an increased sex drive. One of the “positive” side effects of NOXYCUT is enhanced sexual performance due to powerful testosterone boosters. NOXYCUT is one of the more expensive diet pills at $75.00 for 75 capsules, which lasts approximately 5 weeks. At this price NOXYCUT is tough to pass up. The product is intended of men over the age of 18 only but it is recommended that men only over the age of 21 take NOXYCUT. Be sure to strictly follow the recommended use as it is extremely powerful.

I was literally having a hard time thinking of whom to feature this Music Monday, so I decided to ask a friend about it. So for today am featuring a very cool band that brought the song Desolation for The Watchmen - My Chemical Romance.
My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from Jersey City, New Jersey, formed in 2001. The band consists of five members: Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Bob Bryar. Shortly after forming, the band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love in 2002. They signed with Reprise Records the next year and released their major label debut Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge in 2004; the album was a commercial success selling over one million copies. The band followed this success with 2006's The Black Parade, featuring their hit singles, "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I Don't Love You", and "Teenagers". The band also filmed a live DVD in Mexico City, which was released on July 1, 2008. Here's their video for you to enjoy :)
