Technology Tuesday on Empty Streets: Palm Centro

I was just browsing through one of the malls here in Makati and something caught my eye, Palm Centro. It caught my attention due to the aesthetic value that it had for such a small phone. I looked a little closer and its charm started to get even better. So I decided to try to find out more about this little gadget wonder. (I think their advertisement about how one could access facebook was what caught my attention most hehehe)

The Palm Centro is a smartphone which was released on October 14, 2007 by Palm, Inc.. The Centro retains the functionality of the larger Treo 755p, in a smaller form factor. As of August 2008, the Palm Centro is the second-ranked US smartphone based on internet traffic, responsible for 78% of the traffic on Palm devices. The Centro is also the last device to run the Palm OS operating system, due to the pending release of the Palm Pre (which will run Palm's new WebOS) as well as the fact that most of Palm's other devices sold in recent years feature Windows Mobile.
