Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Now Officially Launched

I just got wind of the official release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and based on press release it should be available to the public by as early as Oct this year. Now that the cat's out of the bag, Samsung Galaxy note is sporting the latest Android Jelly Bean OS making it run quite smooth. I love the upgraded functionalities of the S Pen making email and texting a breeze through simply writing your your message with the pen. Reminds me of those old PDA computers my boss would try to play around with, but unlike those old PDA's the S Pen of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a definite power house. The 10 million people who bought the Samsung Galaxy Note of 2011 can attest to its functionality and use.  The way it's built and it's design though looks much like an elongated Samsung Galaxy S3, I am guessing this was a good move after their legal battle with Apple with regards to their design factor.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE II SPECS
  • 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED (1,280 x 720) - Gaming, photo and video viewing is going to be great on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2
  • 1.6 GHz quad-core processor - I am currently using the HTC One X which is at 1.5Ghz quad core and i can already say things are lightning fast
  • 2GB (RAM) - 1GB made things a lot better, I can just imagine what 2x the ram would give the end user experience
  • Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
  • 16/32/64GB Storage
  • microSD expansion (up to 64GB)
  • HSPA 21Mbps (HSDPA 21Mbps / HSUPA 5.76Mbps
  • LTE (I think in the Philippines Globe will be the first to have this available)
  • 8 Megapixel Auto Focus Rear Camera with LED Flash - originally rumored to be 16MP but that was to be given to their Samsung Galaxy Camera.
  • 1.9 Megapixel Front Camera
  • Full HD(1080p) Playback & Recording - becoming a standard across the board with high end smartphone devices
  • 3.5mm Ear Jack
  • S Pen - this is an upgraded S Pen compared to the S Pen of the Samsung Galaxy Note
  • A-GPS, Glonass - MapFactor Navigator will most likely work like a charm with this unit
  • Bluetooth v 4.0
  • USB 2.0 Host
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Wi-Fi HT40
  • mHL, NFC
  • Accelerometer, RGB Light, Digital Compass, Proximity, Gyro, Barometer
  • 80.5 x 151.1 x 9.4 mm, 180 g
  • Li-ion 3,100mAh Battery
How much would this "Phablet" cost is still part of the guessing game for everyone. I would most definitely love to have one for review purposes once it is out, till then we have but the specs to look at.

Till Next Time...
