Tagaytay's Pet Friendly Family Get Away: Oyster Forrest Life Resort

Trying to find a pet friendly place that is worthy for the whole family and is as picturesque as many of the resorts in Tagaytay is quite a challenge. To be honest it took some investigative research via the internet plus making a quick call to make sure that it really pet-friendly to find this one such place - Oyster Forrest Life.

This is a very quaint, quiet yet surprisingly pleasant vacation place for the whole family, including your most loved Fido and Garfield. Situated a few kilometers away from the Tagaytay-Sta Rosa intersection, Oyster Forrest Life makes it a very pleasant location to stay. It is not that easy to find though but just to help you out I'll post a link as the exact waypoint for the Oyster Forrest Life, but once you get to find it, looking for it again is quite simple.

Inside Oyster Forrest Life you'll get to pick from several cottages that are similar to the "Bahay Kubo" in the farm areas surrounding but modernized enough to make the stay pleasant. The cottages are family friendly enough as each would have two bedrooms and a large veranda where you can dine and like the others in our group slept the night in as the air in the area is quite fresh and surprisingly cold. In each room there is a fan that can be used to keep those sleeping inside cool enough, which we skipped doing in our case as we were in the area during the Cold Months of November.

The facilities in Oyster Forrest Life is very suitable for outdoor fun activities including a videoke club house that everyone can enjoy. The pool is very inviting and there is a jacuzzi one can rent for Php100 per hour/person. There are also barbecue areas and a little restaurant just in case you want to eat a hearty Filipino breakfast. Don't expect a television or wifi connection in the resort though as the Oyster Forrest Life really focuses on you getting in tune with family and friends. There is even a huge bird cage you can enter to get to interact with and a monkey that is quite fun to try and talk to.

Each cottage can contain at most a family of 6 not counting Fido and Garfield of course. They also have airconditioned rooms which can accommodate 2 people though I have seen 4 people occupy it plus kids. The price we got was from Agoda.com at Php 2,900 for the cottage and for the airconditioned room at Php2,564. I have been informed though by the admin that during weekdays they can even go as far as half the price off.
