Google Play Reco's: Amazing Alex

While waiting for the pictures of the Bangkok River Market to get uploaded for the third installment of my Amazing Bangkok Trip, I would like to take a moment to share a new time passing puzzle game that has started getting a lot of rave reviews from people that have tried it out themselves.

Rovio, the makers of the smashing application hit series "Angry Birds" have created a new and just as addicting physics puzzle game called Amazing Alex.

Here is how they describe Amazing AlexMeet Amazing Alex! This whiz kid has a boundless imagination and a houseful of fun toys that can turn anything into an adventure!
From cleaning up his room to battling cardboard robots in his backyard, Alex creates amazing chain reactions to get the job done with the maximum amount of fun! Now he has some challenges for you -- and he wants to see the most creative solutions YOU can create!
There's a whole world of creations waiting!
Alex is definitely calling on everyone to get to see if you can master the challenges he has laid out for everyone.
On install I have to admit was anticipating an Angry Bird type of setup but once you start playing it, you'll soon notice that it is quite far from the sling shot game play you got used to. The game revolves around particular goals that are set which is basically getting all three stars and getting something to hit a target such as a soccer ball landing in a basket or making a robot fall over. At first one would think it would be a piece of cake, and would probably resemble a lot of physics type drop the object games out there, but once you have progressed further you'll see how much of a challenge it really is trying to get those three stars and hitting the puzzle just right.
There are several version of Amazing Alex that one can download but I would recommend for you to try out the Amazing Alex Free to get your feet wet first. Then when you are ready for an even better and bigger challenge you can check out Amazing Alex HD which features 100 puzzles in, well high definition.
It works on most android devices such as the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy Wonder, but I guess if your android phone doesn't have a processor of at least 1Ghz you wont be able to download the game.
Here is a snipet of the comments of those that have delved into the game to date:

Not Too Original, BUT FUN

I know we've seen this game before, but Rovio has wonderfully remade it and has brought us something much different than what we've seen from them in the past! Runs well on my Samsung Galaxy S3, but I would like to see in future updates a way to change the border size for high-resolution screens (because right now they are downright ugly). Also, I noticed a little bit of image glitching when completing levels, but I know that'll be fixed in future updates, and it is nothing to remove a star over. I also love how there is more than one way to complete each level. I plan on letting my younger nephews play and discover their own ways to achieve each task and collect the most stars. If you are a fan of Cut the Rope especially you WILL be a fan of this!

With all that said, dont waste anymore time and get gaming :) btw for all IOS users there is also an Apple version of the game in the Apple Store.
Till Next Time...
