Travel Thursday on Empty Streets: Top Ten Places for Valentines

Valentines Day is only a few days from now and there are so many places one could possibly think of to go to and celebrate with your special loved ones. Last week I was able to feature the places to visit in the Philippines on Valentines day, but for today I have something even more special for those that can truly afford to travel.

Here are the Top Ten best places in the world to celebrate Valentines Day:

Paris - France
The most romantic city in the world. For many people this is the ideal description of Paris with it's world famous places: Le Louvre, Efel Tower, Champs Elysees, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumphe, Euro Disney, Montmartre, Montparnasse, Centre Pompidou and many others. It's a great city which you must have seen at least once.

Venice - Italy
Venice is beautiful beyond comparison. Venice is unique environmentally, architecturally, and historically. The city’s canals with gondolas, the ancient buildings and the sweet narrow streets gives this unique city a breathtaking romantic flair. The major attractions are: Ponte di Rialto, Piazza San Marco, Ponte dei Sospiri and the Canale Grande.

Niagara Falls - Ontario/Canada & New York/US

Schloss Neuschwanstein - Germany
This castle was built on the top of a rock ledge in the Bavarian Alps (near Füssen, Ger.) by order of Bavaria's King Luis II called “Mad Ludwig. The king build this castle exactly like the old knight castles. Without a doubt this castle is one of the most famous in the world. You can enjoy view from the riverside of the castle while from the courtyard you can the Altmuhltal, an unbelievable pretty German village.

Oaho - Hawaii - USA
Hawaii is one of the loveliest islands that lies in any ocean.
It has a mild tropical climate and it is considered by many people to be the world's ideal. You can find a wide range of recreational and cultural facilities, such as golf courses, tennis courts, parks, surfing sites, beaches, restaurants, theatres, musical attractions, and sport events. The people of Hawaii are warm hearted and it gives to everyone the pleasant feeling of being welcome.

Vienna - Austria
Vienna is one of the most magnificent cities in Europe and renowned for its architecture.

Vienna is proud of its tradition. can still drink the same local wines in the taverns like a century ago. It is even possible to ride in a two-horse carriage driven by a coachman.

Vienna is full of tradition and rich in architectural, artistic and musical heritage. St Stephen’s Cathedral, Schoenbrunn Palace, the Prater, The Hofburg Imperial Palace, Museum of Fine Arts, Sigmund Freud Museum, Belvedere Palace are only some of the major attractions of Vienna.

Prague - Czech Republic

Rio De Janeiro - Brazil
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most vibrant cities in the world. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean, in the southeastern part of the tropical zone in South America. Rio is well known for the beauty of its beaches. Hills that are covered by tropical forests raise from the see and build a magnificent view.

The city is famous for the annual Carnival, night and day music, singing, parties, balls, and street parades of brilliantly-costumed dancers performing samba rhythms.

The major attractions are: The Sugar-Loaf, the Redemptor Christ, the Downtown Rio, Old Rio and the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema and of course the well known Carnival of Rio.

New York City - USA
New York is the center of the world. A city that never sleeps. Full of entertainment and cultural differences. New York have the most famous shops and restaurants. It's a city full of energy and contrasts.

Major attractions are the Skyline, Central Park, Liberty Island with the Statue of Liberty , the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Ellis Island National Monument, the Brooklyn Bridge, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Broadway, Washington Square Park and many more.
