A Luxurious Stay In Macau @ The Venetian Hotel

We got the chance to stay at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel found in the Cotai area of Macau a couple of weeks back. We picked this place because of the awesome deal we got from Agoda.com of only Php 9,000 per night which is normally at Php 20,000++ if you book it directly with them. We stayed for just one night before we headed back to HongKong which was more than enough to get to feel the grandeur of the place.

The moment we stepped into the Venetian Hotel, I was immediately awed and overwhelmed with the massiveness of the whole place. We actually needed a map to navigate from the reception area to our hotel room. There were so many things to see, that filled our senses. The Murals and Frescos at the entrance to the faux morning sky, Gondola rides, Faux Venetian buildings and even the bird sounds all add to the ambiance that'll make anyone feel like you have just been warped into a whole new era and place. The staff, the sounds, even the shops add to the excitement of the place. Once you get out of your room at night, dont get surprised to walk around and feel like time just stood still cause of the constant early morning blue sky covered with scattered clouds that seemingly move as you move. It gave a twilight feeling mentioned by many that were pleasantly caught off guard as they walked into the Venetian environment from their Luxurious Hotel Rooms.

I had to emphasis on the Hotel Rooms of The Venetian Resort Hotel because we got the Royal Suite which was their basic hotel room which measured at 70sqm. That's more than any single bedroom or studio unit being sold in the Philippines. The larger suites can go as large as 170sqm. The Royal Suite already has two large queen sized bed, a living room space and a humungous toilet. Two LCD Televisions, one of the bedroom area and the other for the living room area. The view we got was phenomenal as it was the view of the mini golf court and the new Sheraton Hotel of the Cotai Strip.

The Venetian Hotel has everything that you would want in terms of shopping, gambling, food and more. Picture taking is guaranteed to be non-stop as every corner is a photo opportunity just waiting to happen. The Gondola Rides looked fun but we opted to get the ferry pass back to HongKong instead. The food in the food court of the Venetian gave people more than enough options of where to eat. From Chinese food, Vietnamese and Thai Food to regular Burgers and Pizza. The way the Food Court Looks though isn't your typical setup as it is in the Venetian Theme same as most of the rest of the Venetian Hotel.

Here are the Photos of the Food Court - It really isn't like any Food Court I've been to

Overall, the Venetian Macao Resorts Hotel was like a dream world fantasy that came to life. It was a magical feeling and just being inside was more than enough to satisfy my cravings. There are many more Hotels along Cotai that have their own magical feel but The Venetian Hotel is in a league above most.

Till Next Time...

Just for adding a few more pictures here as we paid a visit to other places outside of the Venetian Hotel such as the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel which is across The Venetian Hotel and the shopping area around the famous landmark called The Ruins of St. Paul.

Was looking to catch the Mermaids as they appear. They only stayed on screen for a short period and was from one part of the screen to the next. Mind that the screen is also a water falls type indoor fountain.

Here are the Pictures from the Ruins of St Paul - Shopping was great here but its still a lot better in Hongkong's Canton Road
